A regular day at work for me is >10km of trekking through steep terrain, and these boots are even more comfortable than I'd hoped. I was nervous about buying shoes online for the first time, but the fit was perfect.

Light, comfy and damn good looking boots.
As far as wear and tear I guess we'll see.

These are my boots after a year but i wear them probably 6 days a week, they dont get treated to rough so if you want something as a work boot for hard conditions they may not last to long,
Comfy as boots nice and soft sole and bend and flex well, hard to go back to a tight shoe afterwards cause these have a nice wide foot box that ya get used to
Will be getting more as i like the comfort, a bit pricey for a light duty boot that only lasts a year but i guess thats what happens when your getting things from a US based company tho they are made in china
Jacob
Such an awesome shoe!! Comfy and stylish
Joshua
I use this almost everyday! Itās waterproof as advertised!

These boots are brilliant. I had been having issues with sore feet when hiking. I wanted to try something else. I did 50km of off trail bush bashing without braking in the boots and the performed brilliantly, not a single blister. The negative I would say is size. Mine are just a little bit too small I went up half a size, I would recommend going up a full size. The other comment is they do age very quickly but n appearance (which I donāt mind). Make sure you use a good shoe wax regularly.

Tested the boots out on a 10km coastal hike and was stoked with how comfy and supportive they were. Would definitely recommend.

If you are looking for a wide fitting toe box and a roomy feel with good grip these boots are for you, remember to waterproof for extra care and to keep the colour looking great, also a true to size will fit extra thick socks and the innersole can be removed and replaced if necessary, these are not stiff leather but firm and hold feel. Hoping for years of wear

Comfortable from the first wear, the Summit boots are the best hiking books Iāve ever owned. I wore them recently on a three day hike in the Tasmanian wilderness and they coped with everything; water, mud, scree, rocks. The wide toe-box enabled more stability, than any of my previous hiking boots, on loose surfaces.

The size guide was just right. I bought these boots for tramping in the Scottish highlands. The sole is definitely stiffer and thicker than usual barefoot shoes but more flexibility than non-barefoot boots. I think the thicker sole is just whatās needed in the snow.
Karl S.
These are a small size, admittedly I have flippers but size 15 is what I need. Before I ordered I did check this with bprimal and they gave good advice on sizing and it was right on straight away. These were comfortable out of the box. I just finished three days of hiking around and they are brilliant. I left this review for a couple months to make sure they are as good as I hoped.
JANINE S.
Well I havenāt taken them out on a trail yet but out of the box they are simply dreamy.
I love the colour and I know I will be wearing them with hiking pants, leggings and a down filled skirt with tights.
Whether laced right up or just to the ankle they are comfortable and the footbed allows my foot to just be and my toes to spread.
I love footwear that allows me to forget my feet as I walk, hike or run and these trail hikers are all that. Canāt wait to put them through their paces in New Zealand!

I am so disheartened by this Waterproof boot I bought in April 2023 wearing them for 9 months, I also put shoe polish on them to keep them looking beautiful and shiny but yesterday I came home from a walk in wet grass with one very soggy sock, the water came from the bottom and I can't see any tear in the base of the boot, maybe its come around the seams or edges of the sole rise. I can't wear them like this, I am so disappointed, back to my normal shoes for walking the dogs...

Very comfortable shoes. Great fit and feet feel great. Not as bulky as I thought they would be. Now letās see how they wear because I am going to take them everywhere!
Peta G.
A well made boot that unfortunately didn't work for me. Tight fit for a duck shaped foot. The tongue of the boot doesn't fold all the way down as it is sewn to the sides which makes it a squeeze to push in a foot that is wider than usual across the toes.

I couldn't be happier with these boots. They are incredibly comfortable and supportive. I use them for bushwalking and find that even now, on days in the mid 30 degree C, my feet do not sweat or overheat which is in contrast to Gortex boots that I normally wear.
The sizing recommendation was spot on for me. Definitely the best boots I have ever worn.

Really well made boots. Iāve been wearing the Boulder boots to work (electrician) and I needed something with a bit more protection on the sole. The Summits definitely have that, however that comes at the cost of flexibility in the sole, and they feel more like a traditional boot. I found the original Boulder to be the most waterproof boot Iāve ever owned, so the addition of a waterproof membrane in this boot I find unnecessary, and it makes the boot quite hot (Note: my feet do run hot, I donāt get cold feet in winter, so this is a factor)
They fit slightly larger than the Boulder, but I have stuck with the same size, and am happy for the extra room around my toes.
If they only brought these out with a composite toe cap, Iād buy enough pairs to see me out!
Murray J.
Nice looking great comfortable boots right from the very first time I put them on very nice service from bipral will certainly be dealing with them again thank s very much guys
James C.
Easily the most comfortable hiking boot- from the first wear!
Lara S.
They are comfy like cloud pillows. I'm usually a size 9 womens but I'm fitting a size 10 of these. The ankle is tall but the quality is great. Getting used to the shape after the lems zen shoes.
Lachlyn B.
Love them! So comfortable. I wore them to work to begin āwearing them inā in preparation for hiking in themā¦ but it wonāt be necessary. These fit comfortably from the word go.
Martin W.
Great pair of hiking shoes, very light and flexible. I enjoy the extra toe space.
Dylan W.
Excellent customer service!!
Very grateful for Gaelle at Bprimal.
Corvi M.
The shoes insoles side hurt my feet when I stand in them too long. The shoes are not very comfortable.I would not buy a second pair.
Robyn W.
Just love these boots. They are wide and extra roomy for my toes - no bursitis pain at all! They have enough cushioning for a long walk without losing the ground feel that I like. Excellent quality. I can tell they will last a very long time. The leather is a bit stiff to begin with but Iām sure it will soften up nicely - no blisters or problems on my first 8 km outing with them. So so happy with these boots, and with the help and support BPrimal gave me

Loved the shoes as soon as the came out of the box. Super comfortable from the first wear!
Thomas I.
The team at Bprimal was fantastic to deal with. I had a few issues with the product I received but they responded quickly and resolved them. I would definitely order from Bprimal again.

My partner was looking for a new set of work boots, and really wanted to find another pair of foot shaped shoes.
He already owns a pair of lems, so I recommended these as he wanted a bit of tred and leather/waterproof. Within only a few hours he said they molded to his feet perfectly, unlike conventional shoes, which take weeks and are still uncomfortable. Extremely happy with this purchase.
Anna
I live in Lems, I just wish they would sort out the sizing, every pair I have is a different size. I ordered a half size smaller than my regular Boulder Boots, probably could have got a whole size smaller. Also wish they were zero drop.
Courtney L.
Took these hiking in the Himalayas. LOVED THEM! So comfy on the feet, supportive for the ankles and super light weight!
Kerrie
Excellent quality and improvement on previous Boulder boot
Arlene D.
I feel like singing Rihannaās song āwhere have you been all my life L E M S ā
It survived the Queenstownās glacier and kept my feet dry.
just got one question , how can I maintain the water proofing?
Ross A.
I would give this boot a 5/5,
but unfortunately the heel area is a little narrow and the edge of my foot presses on the side of the in-sole.
Other than that, extremely comfortable and light for a leather boot!
Noel W.
the sizing tool on the website ā where you stand on a piece of A4 paper, take a photo and upload it ā is horribly inaccurate. it calculated me as M12, but after returning the shoes and talking to customer service i settled on an M10.5. had i known that sizing is basically the same as standard US siding i.e. M12 = US12, iād have gone with the size i ended up with first and nott had to go through the return process
Paul B.
Definite improvement over regular Boulder Boot. More stitching & reinforcement where needed. Iāll see how they feel in warmer months, as to their breathability.
Allister L.
Nice quality boots that after 1 day were comfy and plenty of room in the toe box. Good grip and very light so looking forward to giving them more of a workout on a hike as only worn for garden work and general wear so far.
Serena F.
id love to give a brilliant review here, they are a beautiful boot - unfortunately the sizing that got sent to me was way off - i actually sent a request for further sizing guidance so i could get it right for another pair - but have heard nothing back.. . .
Claire S.
Second pair of Lems boots and very happy with them. They fit perfectly :)
Anne C.
What a great choice for my first barefoot boots. Randomly watching the rose anvil boot review guy made me want to check them out. I put in a lot of kms in the bush for work so was a little skeptical how the boots (and my feet) would go. Not going back to my other hiking boots now - these are so comfortable. They feel pretty different at first (loose and spacey) but you quickly forget you have them on. Highly recommend. So impressed have ordered the normal boulder for around town.
Rosemary D.
These are my first tramping boots and first barefoot style of shoe purchase. I havenāt taken them off since I received them. I had snuggly dry feet on a cold winter tramp and no blisters at all! I am so happy!!!!
David C.
These boots look and feel fantastic. They are extremely light weight, but sturdy!...
I now have a smile on my face and feet!
Thanks for your fantastic help and service bprimal!...
Zoe M.
Only owned a week. Bought for every day use in the garden and out and about. So far they feel great. They definitely have a chunky/ manly look to them, but as long as they are robust and comfortable I don't care! So far do good. Will be interesting to see how they hold up with the amount of kneeling I do all day. Most shoes crack where the toe/foot bends. Fingers xd.

I used the online measuring thingo. I could have gone a 9 rather than the 9.5 it suggested. However, these boots are for rough work and walking in wet, cold conditions so investing in thick socks has done the trick. They do slip on some surfaces. No more wet feet all day has made them my go-to footwear each morning. Very comfortable from the get go.
Darren M.
My boots arrived quickly and they are such very comfy, surprised how light they are.
Mal J.
I owned the original version and would say the new version has a more robust sole but still feels light and of course plenty room for toes. The leather finish looks great and Iām yet to test waterproof but Iām sure I wonāt be disappointed. N.B they run smaller than previous model. So check the sizing. Bprimal were awesome at swapping size.

Had a tight spot in my left shoe on day 1 but after the end of 1st day it went away. From that point onwards it was very comfy. Have done a ~20km hike in rough terrain in the rain and it performed very well. Kept my feet dry and was not feeling any discomfort. Have been wearing it everywhere for the past 2 weeks and loving it.
John N.
Love my new boots, lovely wide toe area , they are about a half size big, but this can be fixed with thick woolly socks and I do need an orthotic to stop rolling inward, I still move around a bit inside which is okay and still comfy, I can feel the ground underneath me which I like. I had to change the shoe laces, even with a double knot the movement of walking made them come undone over and over, now I have rose coloured laces, nice. I have average width feet but not thick feet or bunions, light female frame, they dry fairly quickly ready for the next day I will add a waterproofer just to condition the leather as I like the shiny brown color rather than the earthy rustic look,
Brett C.
Great boot, good quality leather and really comfy.
Darcy G.
Great boot. Excellent quality and finish. I ordered too large to begin with but found the perfect fit in a 1/2 size down on the fitting chart. I should get plenty of life out of these bad boys. Water off a ducks back with these boots as well. My feet kept dry on a wet afternoon hike. Stoked.

Been having a look through barefoot boots for over 2 years now. Finally pulled the trigger. Worth the wait. Amazing boots with a wide tow box that I've been looking for!
Sharon W.
This is my second pair of Lems. I have had a number of barefoot shoes in the last ten years, including another pair of hiking boots. My new Bolder Boots are exceptional! ... super soft and flexible with a generous toe box so I can comfortably wear toe spacers if I choose. Even though the foot bed is deeper than some barefoot shoes, the ground feel is still there and the shoe allows my foot to respond to the terrain I'm walking over.
Although I live in a part of Australia that is relatively dry, its great to know that whatever the weather, I can wear them safe in the knowledge my feet will be dry when I get home. I LOVE them!
Marli G.
First time buying footwear over the internet and it was made SO easy with their sizing software - genius! As for the boots they are amazingly comfortable and very durable. Had their first run camping and hiking and cannot fault them. Thank you!
Michelle
I started my "barefoot journey" about a year ago with vivo barefoots for working out but stuck to my regular hiking boots because I was concerned about stability, sole thickness/cushion and waterproofing for the climates I regularly work and hike in. After plenty of research I bough a pair of Lems Boulder Summit and I'M GLAD I DID!
Equal in all the above categories but way more comfortable for my toes and wide ball of foot. I expect these will last a very ling time but I'll definitely purchase again when I'm due.
